How to use TheWell

Box Activation Quick Guide
- 1. Apply for a cloud account or use an existing account. Press to apply for a new account.
- 2. Make sure you have a) Site Code name b) Site Password (contact the cloud administrator)
- 3. Turn on the box: Press and hold the left button until the light turns blue. Wait until display shows up.
- 4. On your phone, tablet or computer, find "TheWellBox" on your Wi-Fi list of available networks.
- 5. Use the default password "TheWellBox" to connect.
- 6. Open your internet browser and visit "http://thewell.box"
- 7. Open the sidebar (use the burger menu in top right corner). Select Admin and use the default password "TheWell123" to access.
- 8. Select settings
- 9. Select Internet Connection and connect to the network of your choice.
- 10. Select "Cloud" from the main menu and choose "Box Activation"
- 11. Fill in your details and press submit
- 12. Contact your cloud administrator and await approval

How to reset a box to factory standard
To reset to box to factory standards
(NB: Factory reset will remove all media content, courses, enrollments, wifi networks and box activation.)
- Turn on the box
- Login to TheWell Portal
- Login as admin
- Then take these steps:
How to reset access point wifi and passwords on TheWell Box
To reset all passwords on the box to factory standards
- Turn on the box – allow display to turn
- Long press the right button (hold for 10 seconds)
- Display will say “Reset WiFi”
- Let go of button when display returns to normal
How to connect TheWell Box to a projector or monitor with HDMI
To connect TheWell Box to HDMI:
- Insert the hdmi cable in the box
- Connect hdmi cable to monitor or projector
- Turn on TheWell Box
- Use a USB mouse / keyboard to navigate
NB: Do not allow people to connect their devices to the box while it is connected to hdmi, as this may impact performance.
